We've been thinking about how to recognize the people who make Sacred great — the tippers, the creators, the community builders. Today we're rolling out XP, a new system that rewards you for the things you're already doing on the platform.
How XP Works
Every time you do something meaningful on Sacred — send a tip, claim one, connect a social account — you earn XP. Your XP accumulates into a level that's displayed right on your profile, so anyone can see at a glance how active you've been in the community.
This isn't about grinding or pay-to-win. Every mission maps to real platform activity that supports creators and grows the ecosystem.
Missions
Missions are the specific actions that earn you XP. There are eight of them across six categories:
Daily
- Daily Check-In — Pop in once a day for 10 XP. Simple as that.
Tipping
- First Tip Sent — Send your very first tip and earn 50 XP.
- Tip a Creator — Earn 25 XP each time you tip a new creator you haven't tipped before.
Activation
- Activate a Creator — When someone you tipped creates a Sacred account to claim it, you earn 100 XP. You just brought a new creator into the fold.
Referral
- Referral: New Account — If a new user joins Sacred through your tip and claims it, that's 150 XP. This is the biggest single-mission reward because growing the community matters.
Social
- Connect Social Account — Link a platform like Twitter, Twitch, YouTube, or Discord for 20 XP for your first connected account.
Quests
- First Claim — Claim your first tip (to your wallet or Sacred Balance) for 30 XP.
- Tip 10 Creators — A milestone quest. Once you've tipped 10 different creators, you unlock a 200 XP bonus.
Levels
Your level is calculated from your total XP. Early levels come quickly — you'll hit Level 2 at just 100 XP — but higher levels take progressively more effort. Your level badge shows up on your profile and in tooltips across the platform, giving you a visible mark of your community involvement.
Your XP Dashboard
We've added a new XP tab to your dashboard where you can track everything in one place:
- Level progress card — See your total XP, current level, and exactly how much you need to reach the next one.
- Missions view — Browse all available missions, see which ones you've completed, and check your progress on multi-step quests like Tip 10 Creators.
- Activity feed — A chronological log of every XP event, so you always know what you earned and when.
You'll also notice a notification dot on the XP tab when your daily check-in is available — a small nudge to keep the streak going.
Faster Page Loads
We've optimized several of the heaviest pages on the platform. The Discover page, leaderboard, and creator profiles all load noticeably faster thanks to new database indexes and smarter query patterns. Check-in writes are now throttled to reduce unnecessary database pressure, so things stay snappy even during peak activity.
Browse Without Logging In
Logged-out visitors on desktop now get a navigation dropdown that makes it easy to explore Sacred before signing up. You can browse creators, check the leaderboard, and look around without hitting a login wall first.
Better Link Previews
Sharing a Sacred link on Facebook (and other platforms that use OpenGraph metadata) now renders a proper preview card. Previously, some metadata wasn't formatted correctly for Facebook's parser — that's fixed.
Bug Fixes
- Discord login redirect — signing in with Discord now correctly returns you to the page you were on, instead of dropping you on the dashboard.
- Auth security hardening — we've tightened input validation, brute-force protection, and session management across all authentication routes.
- Cache consistency — price data and tip page caches are now more reliable, reducing stale data edge cases.
